Sidetracked by Reading

Yes, I know. I'm very bad. But I have a good reason. I spent the second part of last week finishing the Twilight series. LOVE IT! I just can't explain. I can't even do a long post today out of fear I'll give away part of the story. Anyway, now I'm trying (unsuccessfully) to get caught up on all the things I neglected last week. AND American Idol starts tonight and that is a must do. So much, so much.

Nothing is new. Oh, except that I got a new calling. Well I should say another calling. I'm the Young Women's camp director. I'm pretty excited. Haven't done a thing with it yet, but so far so good. :)

Aw sheesh, not you too:) Another victim of Twilight. I liked the first one, not the other two. And I probably don't need to tell you this, but she has a website with lots of book and movie info and excerpts (sp?) from new books.

I love the Twilight Series too! Actually I am just about a quarter of the way through Eclipse. Yay! Now I just need a few hours to finish! Sadly, I am subbing at the Elementary this week, so no reading for me!

American Idol. :( I am so sad that I am missing it! I need to go visit my parents house and catch up!!

Camp Director? Fun for you! I hope you enjoy camp! I am scared one of these years I am going to get that calling. ... hmm....

Yeah, life stops until you finish the series! I don't read Harry Potter so I was glad to find a series to get into! My favorite thing from Stephenie's website it the first chapter to Midnight Sun which is Twilight written from Edward's perspective. Very interesting. I hear she's going to publish the whole book after Breaking Dawn. Okay, this might show how crazy I am but you have to read New Moon twice to appreciate Jacob at all. Seriously, I'd be okay if she end up with Jacob- he's HOT :)

Oh Autumn, not you too! Half the kids at school are Jacob lovers. I just don't understand. Give me mature, stoic Edward any day.

I do love that little taste of Edward on her website. It just highlights how far superior Edward is. :)

WARNING: Spoilers abound so read at your own risk
Mature is overrated ;)
I just want to clarify, I'm happy she picked Edward but there are things Jacob could give her (like kids) that she'd have to sacrifice to be with Edward. I thought Rosalie had a good point when she told Bella that she was too young to know everything she'd be giving up. Jacob isn't a bad choice, he's just not the best choice. Now I'm going to have to do a post about all the ways being married to a vampire would rock. Real men just can't compare :)
