Brother Update

So this is kinda old news, but since I posted that Jason was going to Chicago, I thought I should post that now he's not. Just days after deciding Chicago was the place for him, Jason got accepted to Washington University in St. Louis! He's such a smart boy and we'll now have to become Cardinals fans (considering they are one of the two pro teams I've seen live, I think I can handle that). I'm pretty sure this is where they'll end up, but I guess we never know with those two. :P

My Bro is Amazing

Congrats to Jason and Lindsay for finally deciding where they're going to live for the next four years. Jason will attend Pritzker Medical School at the University of Chicago! Jason, we're so proud of you and hope the Cubs become awesome so we can catch some good games when we come visit.

Wedding Pics

I know I haven't posted in FOREVER and I've been just as bad at checking every else's blogs, but I promise I'll try to get back on the wagon. Anyway, my brother got married yesterday to one of the greatest girls ever--welcome Lindsay! Here are some pics my dad took. People are rarely looking at the camera because my dad was shadowing the real photographer a lot of the time, but there are some really cute ones so here's a sampling. Enjoy!

Lindsay with her triplet sisters and Jason with the groomsmen

Linsday's dad during the family roast/tribute (I'm pretty sure this was at a roast moment) and Lindsay's family. I'm sure the photographer got a better shot!

Christmas Memories

Where to begin, where to begin. Actually, I don't really have that much exciting stuff to say except that as I was getting ready to post I was very upset because I couldn't find the cable that runs from my camera to the computer. I took it with me to Richy but never got it out, but after emptying our suitcase I hadn't found it. Very upsetting because I was considering participating in a photo blog with Kamie, but if I had now cable, I couldn't very well participate. But have no fear, it turned up in a random pocket of our overnight bag. I still have no idea where my cell phone charger is, but Troy said he grabbed it as he was packing, so let's keep our fingers crossed.

Christmas break was rather uneventful. We just hung out with the fam. Along with nine people in the house, we had four dogs in the backyard, sister Rachel's and Lance's three. That was madness. This is Jason attempting to play with the dogs. I have no idea where the fourth one is. Probably getting ready to attack.

Being with my brother was the best because I rarely get to see him and he's very funny. We had to go to our not-so-fun-now-that-we're-older family Christmas party (which is held after Christmas) were all we do now is just hang out with our own family. Someone decided we needed to have a family sing along and Jason, who seems to have very little shame, joined in with gusto. This is my first attempt at video and it did come from my cell phone, but you get the idea.

And there you have it. Christmas vacation in a nut shell.
